Why does Baki feel undiscussed on MAL?

Not just the anime series, but the manga too. I always felt that Baki series is just so untalked about compared to other series on MAL. Iv seen more people discussing Baki in random Youtube video comment section than people talking about it here. I just have this impression. Why is that?

No idea. Perhaps it's the kind of anime/manga we enjoy on our own and just talk about it with others once in a while

I enjoy but like the wow moments are good but nothing ground breaking nothing crazy in plot not really to much to talk about imo.

Don't get me wrong, it has fans... but like it's just not all that popular. The manga doesn't even have an English publishing, and practically no one who watched the netflix baking even knew the previous series existed. it's a great series, but it's kinda just one you watch, go "man that was great" and then don't think about until the next season. I think it's mainly because this series doesn't have a lot to discuss about, I mean what would you even talk to people about when it comes to this show? It doesnt really have super deep meanings that make you want to talk about it.

btw it sounds like I hate the show, but I have one of the seasons as a 10 rating.

Yep thats what really confused me. I have the impression it has a pretty big fanbase outside mal but its just not popular here

@Zimmu Came to this thread precisely because I have this impression. I haven't seen anything of Baki except constant youtube comments or clips, tried to figure out where to start with MAL but nobody talks about it
