| i made a similar reply on a reddit post, but i wanted to expand my thoughts. perhaps it's due to winter break fatigue, or the jujutsu kaisen hiatus, but i found myself genuinely enjoy reading this manga. like others, i only really started because of the memes, but i stayed and even caught up without realizing it because it's pretty awesome. now, i wouldn't go as far as to say it's the best thing ever because it's way too early to say, but it's definitely got potential and i would love to see it get adapted and viewed by a wider audience. the art can be a hit or miss at times, but when it finds its footing, it really digs in-- the action scenes, all the goldfish symbolism, and when chihiro's coat tears to look like a fish's tail are all extremely visually interesting...! don't get me started on the emotional scenes too, the flashback scene of chihiro and his dad in chapter 14 was so sweet! i'm not that big on shonen or action (i care more about the characters than the action aspect), but the action is also compelling and EASY TO FOLLOW. the first volume comes out on feb 2 and i'm definitely buying it to support the author, but my main concern is that once the memes permanently die down, people will drop it and it could get axed, especially since it's only really popular overseas (i'm not sure how it is in japan), so is there anyone else that genuinely likes this? |

| I like it, I like the story around his dad making these swords especially, the action is alright nothing to write home about, but the story and planning make up for it. I just want know 2 things. 1) how his dad made these swords 😅 2) how his dad ended up being so renowned. infact maybe we should have a new series kagurabachi dad edition for all this info 😂 |

I think the biggest thing to take from this is to get off social media. It's really just a cancer to ruin your favorite things. Read more manga in the spare time.
| @DayRivia oohh you might be right but i'm not too mad at social media since it was the thing that introduced me to kagurabachi in the first place, hahah ^^. i don't have a subscription to shonen jump or anything like that, so a lot of the stories i pick up are from word of mouth and recommendations. i'll definitely check out mma though! |

I picked it up, because the memes started to piss me off a whole lot and I wanted to make a difference and give genuine support to the author. And here I am all those weeks later, waiting eagerly for every chapter!!
Honestly I feel like the memes already died almost completely, we are slowly appraching chapter 20 and I really don't think people would be willing to let the meme live this long. Not saying I am not worried of it getting discontinued, BUT I really don't think they would axe it at this point. It is growing in popularity all this time. I feel it's gonna do good! 🔥

It's $3 a month. If you read Kagurabachi? you should subscribe. I'm positive it has others that you read. If we don't support the official release, Kagurabachi will be canceled.

| @NaMroz I don't know if they are still cause it'd be a dedication to a really shitty bit to do it like 3 months after the fact but yeah a bunch of people were to make fun of it morbius style cause it looked really generic in the preview and the wake up with fresh hatred line did not do it any favors. |
