| Does anyone know if there has been released a statement on how Sho`s heart surgery went? Did he survive? Based on the end with being encouraged by fmc, I guess it was successful? |

| Sho does commentary at the end of the movie. He does survive the surgery, among other things. |

| I don't recall the movie mentioning that he directly survived it, however he did say that he went back to visit his aunt's house again the next year. So we can assume the surgery was a success. |
