How do you think of MAPPA?
| I wanna know what you guys feel of the studio now that they've finished animating aot. Poor working conditions and staff misuse aside, what do you think of the artists of the studio? Do you think they've done a very good job? Do you think they can do better? Let me know :) Note: You may compare the studio's work with the animation of the previous seasons and even compare individual artists if you want, but I request to make them non toxic, and you must explain at least one positive and one negative point of both sides if you compare.              |

| MAPPA is known for producing great quality animes for a reason. AOT is no exception now, especially with the love given to S4 P3 and P4. |
| They make gorgeous art. There great at what they do. Although I hear bad things about there work conditions. |

And I will say that Mappa(Mostly team Hayashi) really showed their dedication and appreciation for AoT. Yes the Animation quality wasn't the best in S4P1 due to scheduling restrictions. But they really tried and did improve with each part. To the point that in my opinion S4P4 is the best animated part of the whole show. I mean honestly they could have easily half assed it. They got a show right at it's end and didn't have much to gain from it. But they really gave it the best treatment they could under the circumstances. And I appreciate that. As for their capabilities. Going by AoT clearly when given enough time they can make great looking action. But I would like to point out 3 things I was really impressed with. 1. Their backgrounds. They are so beautiful and realistic. 2. Use of color. Season 4 had such an amazing use of color. I can't explain it. But you would go from this completely orange/red color pallette to a purple color palette to a blue color palette and I just loved it. 3. Goddam can these guys do facial expressions. Seriously Mappa is so good at conveying emotions through facial animations. In AoT atleast. Really well written, never saw anyone explaining so dedicatedly their love for mappa's work, I appreciate it. Our opinions match very much, we can be buddies really 🤝. (btw cool pfp)  |

I've seen alot better, mappa just is average.
You should take a look on studio shaft's works, ufotable, Kyoto, WIT, MADHOUSE, PRODUCTUON IG, bones, even pierrot's bleach 2022
All these studio have alot awesome made works and so much great artists
Like puella magic maddoka, garden of sinners, vanitas, vinyl and... more
These studios in term of almost everything are better than mappa
Mappa is an Average studio,
And has 2 years for working on 7eps of part 3, it's obvious you should expect these quality and animation, but in term of drawing quality is still bad
You should take a look on studio shaft's works, ufotable, Kyoto, WIT, MADHOUSE, PRODUCTUON IG, bones, even pierrot's bleach 2022
All these studio have alot awesome made works and so much great artists

| I think i probably would like older mappa anime if i watch them, but I don’t really like how mappa only focuses on making already popular stuff with their newer projects and their bad management made me loose interest in AOT(it seems jjk is currently facing similar problem), so definitely an overrated studio for me. |
| Anime fans blindly supporting MAPPA studio INSTEAD of the staffs working in harsh conditions. You know it's something when the anime staffs working on JJK are starting to voice their opinion on twitter while risking their career in anime industry because of MAPPA. Anime is AMAZING because of the workers NOT the studio. Management needs to change. |
