just to be clear everyone....yes i agree the scream felt like Eva and gurren lagaan...but i was talking about the literal voice acting here.... mechamaru screaming had the same va as eren's attack Titan did....😅😅

I saw the influences as well, also the warning messages and half robot half monster vibe reminded me of evangelion mixed with mecha godzilla

The scream did sound like aot but aot was inspired by Eva and the visuals are gainax trigger type like from the end of the gurren laggan movie version

Yeah I was getting Evangeliom from the whole episode. It's probably fair to say that there's still influence from Evangelion even if the inspiration was drawn more from later animes.
