Konosuba is actually entertaining but this show tries to be a serious drama when the characters are laughable jokes. The only funny thing is how many times they keep dying.

I like how people use Konosuba as a baseline to compare isekai. Pretty sure I saw a Moonlit Fantasy comparison a while back.
I dont really see the similarities between Konosuba and I'm Standing on a Million Lives tbh

I honestly don't see any similarities between this and Konosuba. I would compare Konosuba with a Slice of Life anime. There's really no urgency to kill the Demon Lord it's just when they get around to it. While in Million Lives has a completely different feel to it. If you compare characters side by side then who would be Aqua? I can't think of any that would be.

it's a shame this show will probably never get a 3rd season. it was really just getting good imo. But also season 1 was pretty bad and they still did a season 2, doubt they will be as gracious with another. The shows where the first season blows but there is light at the very end that gives you the notion that the next season would be great really are depressing. Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shitier than Real Life! I'm looking at you.

The only similarities with Konosuba is "one guy and party of useless girls' and that's it.
100M lives actually has some character development and worldbuilding.
