About the filler episodes

I decided to watch the og Naruto these days. I am quite aware of its reputation for having to many fillers (plz don't sue me lol) but one thing bugged me a lot. Episodes from 143 to 219 were considered as filler ones. Am I okay by skipping them and if not, which ones should I watch?

It completely ok the skip all fillers. And also skip 136-220 instead as the small amount of cannon in episodes 140,142 and 220 is basically nothing overall not important.

You can skip all the fillers if you want, but I do recommend to watch at least few of them for the action and characters as a bonus after you complete the canon part. Event if they're not a part of the original line, they expand the world of Naruto

Search ‘Naruto Kai reddit’ on google, it will get you to a reddit post where there is a torrent with a structured version of all naruto(naruto+shipp) made into one-hour episodes without the fillers, the annoying flashbacks(only the important ones), and without the intros/endings in between. It’s a really pleasant way to watch Naruto, feels like a proper show.

You can skip all of them if you want, there are a lot and they are not good.
It's the only filler I skipped, but if I had
watched them, I would have lost the plot.

yes, skip all of them. The series writers just needed to by time before adapting Shippuden. the filler doesn't have anything narratively important.

It won't hurt you to skip them. Having watched all of them myself as a kid, they don't really have any relevance to the plot. If anything, you just get more screentime with other members of the Konoha 12 as Naruto goes on missions with them.

The fillers do not add to the overarching story. They were not adopted from the Manga. You will not be lost if you skip them. The only thing you Wil gain by watching them is more random Naruto episodes.

I enjoy some of the fillers of the og, so i didnt skip it. But feel free to skip it if youre only interested in the meat of the show

they don't count for history, but some are kind of fun, the Ashura and insta one is pretty good

They are usually fun but when you are watching the forth great ninja war the canon starts to be too fun so a filler came in and it destroyed all the hype

I liked most of the filler (except the once where it interrupts the main arcs *sakura story MID WAR ARC*) though I watched them on 2x speed so it was faster

Fillers aren't needed but when you want more they are there as interesting concepts. They aren't part of the main story and even future episodes will not acknowledge them. They are really only made to give the original material time to catch up.
