This anime is underrated

I checked this anime after doing marathon of VN turned anime and what can I say? It's marvelous and exciting.

The anime starts a little slow like a normal VN story but then mind fucks you every few other episodes.

You got to experience the whole story in order to fully appreciate it.

I will play the VN on Switch in a few weeks and I will update my revoew after completing the game.

While more fan service could have made the anime get a higher average rating, I think the level added on the anime is fair, else I wouldn't have watched it for the story.

Apparently it's based on VN which inspired Steins Gate. But people are whining because MC has personality.

I feel like its fine, so idk about underrated. Its been awhile but i remember the 1st and 2nd half being like 2 completely different shows.

i love this anime, its very creative and unique. i dug deeper to see if there was any more material on it and i found a 1996 visual novel adventure game and let me tell you…..i was genuinely shocked at the content i seen. i see why it didn’t make it out japan.

One thing is for sure on this anime, the end credits song of the 1st half was the best!!! Still listen to it to this day.

the switching plot from the first to the second half made me dropped this anime. I was liking this anime at first and hoped for a good time travel anime even though not as good as the others. But, the switching from sci-fi drama to action fantasy rpg setting pissed me off

The entire YU-NO plot needs a desperate rewrite though. A lot of the sexual assault elements are a result of eroge games catering to that sort of kink in the early 90s. It's pretty fucking disgusting.

Honestly decent concept but the writing really shows its age.
