| I believe the three best soccer animes are Inazuma Eleven, Blue Lock and Captain Tsubasa, although the last one might have a little bias of my part. Furthermore, I see some people speaking well of Ao Ashi, but I cannot give an honest opinion about this series. |

| Another vote for Ao Ashi. I didn't like the MC very much at the beginning, but he grew a lot over the course of the series. I also learned a bit about soccer strategy. I watched the first episode of Blue Lock, and decided that if I wanted to watch Squid Game again, I do that instead. I prefer realism in sports anime. That's why I never took to shows like Basquash! either. |

| Captain Tsubasa is definitely a must, check the 2018 one if 80s/90s animation isn't up your alley. Inazuma Eleven if you can take sports + superpowers. |
