Wasn't there a to be continued at the end of last season anyways or am I thinking of a different anime? Either I'm so excited for my one my favorite anime to keep going.

My brother, we are far from the end. The LN is still in progress with currently 20 volumes of releases. The anime at the end of season 2 only adapted 6! Season 1 volumes 1-3 and season 2 volumes 4-6 or so, and those were 24 episode seasons! So yeah, a season 4 and even 5 are already possible.
