| When I saw Meryl's new design for the very first time. I legit thought that she will be a child or a teen in this one. Ironically enough, she is just smol and if im not mistaken, even older than her og manga counterpart. Nevertheless, it's a cute design and I think it reflects her innocence and inexperience she has in this version of the story. |

| Of the main cast of characters, her design I liked the least. She seemed a little more like her 1990s counterpart, in the last episode. Whether that's an overall improvement or not, I'll know once I've started watching the 2nd season. But to me, her personality, in this 1st season, was annoying as all hell. |
