| You would think the most important aspect of a vampire show is the action or story. NOPE. It's actually the sucking. Why? Because that's what classify a vampire in the first place. This is the only vampire anime to ever get the sucking down. After hearing the blood sucking sound from Nazuna, who wouldn't want to get sucked by Amamiya? Not only that, this show actually made the night look magical. Also, it got tons of waifus. You want Onee-san in a suit? Check. Gyaru? Check. Osananajimi? Check. It's got it all. How can future Vampire anime compete? |

| I think it’s just more earthbounded than the other vampire shows with not much of a spectacular story. Don’t get me wrong I dig the vibe of this anime but don’t really think it broke anything. |

How can future Vampire anime compete? I like the anime and what I’ve read so far in the manga. They do a great job of capturing the feeling of walking the streets at night in a city but as far as the sucking, I have to disagree with you there. It sounds like Nazuna is sucking ko’s blood through a straw. It actually gives off a more comedic vibe. Maybe that’s what they’re going for. Personally my favorite is when Jeanne sucks Vanitas’s blood in Vanitas no Karte. That has a very erotic vibe to it so maybe that wouldn’t work Yofukashi no Uta but it’s by far more in line with using a vampire in a more romantic setting versus a horror setting. |

| I don't think you need to worry to much about the future of vampire anime. Seeing as we only get one or maybe two a year, Japan will have plenty of opportunities to perfect the vampire formula in anime. |
