Just wanna say dbz was real gold(i have only watch dbz kai though) and dbs ruined db franchise no emotion only new transformation everything is repetitive like a supervillain came goku and vegeta lost at first now they have two choices
(i)they will fuse
(ii)New transformation
Dbz had emotion i was really emotional when i saw how future gohan died and the most shit*y thing dbs has done is goku is more dumb now
Goku was my favourite character in dbz now iam hating goku because he is dumb idk how anyone can like dbs. Still anime is ok but manga it is like you are eating same food from years i mean really manga is too much repetitive and boring now frieza is here with manga what will happen now everyone knows the answer

Like dbz wasn't all about ne transformation for new villains
Frieza? Get super saiyan
Cell? Go super saiyan 2
Buu? Go super saiyan 3 or fuse, which was literally introduced in that saga, have you forgotten how much fusion was done in that saga?

Here we have just as good story too with the trunks saga or tournament of power saga, and, and the manga, it has way more emotion and hype that dbz itself

there was good storylines attached to Frieza and cell though even the Saiyan saga so the transformations that happened made sense. From buu to super tho it really did come off as transformations for the sake of transformations.

Dragon Ball Super is like that one series you watch if you only want mindless action. Its like the anime equivalent of a Hack n Slash or a Musou Game.

I hoped the manga would get better in the arcs after DBS Broly, but for a monthly manga, one chapter somehow progresses slower than a weekly manga chapter and when it does progress you somehow get fanfic quality stuff like

I mean yeah it definitely felt like the characters and their motivations were a lot more fleshed out in dbz and Frieza didn’t “come out of nowhere” , he’s literally been named dropped like a hundred times this arc by multiple characters so it would have kinda been shit if he didn’t at least make a small appearance plus if this arc just ended with them beating gas and that’s it I wouldn’t have liked that. At least this way they reintroduced a well established and fascinating villain back into the mix and leave us with mystery
