| Yea definately I know she's there just for comic relief but some development is imp for a main character I don't why author ain't dedicating at least a small arc related to her that's the least he/she could do if she has major screentime. |

| Chika is one of my all-time favorite characters. I haven’t read the manga yet so I can’t speak on that but I have to say I wouldn’t change a thing about her character in the anime. Little by little we do get some insight about her family life and I like it that way. But I can understand wanting more. If they did a spin off of her carrying the show I would be all about it. Either way, I think there approach is good enough for me. |

Otherwise yeah no one should even dare to mention Chika alongside Maki (who has actual character growth) and Tsubame (who not only does have her own plotline but arc as well). Chika is slightly above Tsubasa tier, maybe even lower than Nagisa tier in terms of character development if im being harsh, despite comfortably more screentime. |

I mentioned this as an option in a voting forum. it was a vote before regarding what arc should be next and lots of people said they would just prefer for her to stay the way she is, no need for a deep or strong character development as her comedic style and character will be needed to ease the tensions that other characters will experience. And owh believe me the tensions will be out there and you can cut them with a knive. |
