AITA for liking child characters like Sora from Kingdom Hearts and not in a romantic way?

So, as a long time fan of the Kingdom Hearts series i have always enjoyed the cast like Sora and the sea salt trio, as well as the character development they go through in the series. And the game has always had alot of fun minigames and action in it like the thousand heartless battle.

Yet as of late, i've been told that i am an awful person who has a "thing for those who are newly conceived" if you catch my meaning. And that i should turn myself into the authorities for liking such characters and having them on my favorites list as well too.

So lately, i've been at a crossroads should i turn myself into the authorities as well as submit my entire gaming collection of anything related to having "those who are newly conceived" as the cast as well too and face eternal imprisonment for daring to like such characters yet i have never once felt an urge at all nor do i ever wish to have an urge for the "those who are newly conceived" in my life so to let me tldr this in case you are having shortage of time.

AITA for liking kid characters in media even though i have no interest in romance at all for them?

There’s nothing wrong with liking child characters in a non romantic sexual or romantic way. I’m sure you know this though

There's no problem with looking kids in a non romantic way. I prefer games where you play as a child; it makes the experience seem much more epic. A 12 year old slaying a giant spider is way cooler than an adult killing a giant spider.

You'd be surprised as lately, context itself doesn't matter anymore and any accusation can be pulled out from.

And i also am with you on that as well too on how cool it would be playing as a kid.

Yeah you'd be surprised, liking kid characters in KH=bad, yet i see fujoshis fetizhise MHA boys all the time and get mad at people for liking the girls

I'm neither of those qualities really. I just simply like KH thats just about it.

oh you were just wording it weirdly
you said "liking child characters" and "if you catch my meaning" which made me think there was a preversion involved
OP you are not an asshole or anything like that for liking childrens entertainment
I mean I was watching Green Eggs and Ham yesterday with my girlfriend and I've been listening to My Little Pony themed music, I'd be a hypocrite if I said anything otherwise. Children's media can be just as good as anything else.
