One piece Anime/manga is dropping!!

In my own POV, I think the anime and manga of one piece is dropping and i also observed that many of the fans drop the show, i think it started going downhill in timeskip. Op is still my favorite though, and Oda is still one of the best, but his writing is not as good as before.

Isn't it obvious? Though OP was always medicore ,but thanks to oda's constant mediocrity it was considered good...but now it's complete shit.

You can see lots of people complaining about it but some delusional fanboys won't accept that.

Several One Piece anime reactors stopped following the anime in recent months. While that's obviously not to say that the majority of One Piece fans are dropping the show, it's clear that some people are getting tired of the series, especially the current arc with its subpar pacing and episodes that barely move the plot forward.

As for the manga, there's been a well-documented decline in One Piece volume sales in recent years in Japan while several newer series have been selling twice as many volumes or more per year, so that's something to think about.

I understand what you mean but at the same time, I don't think so ? i recently noticed that a lot of people actually started picking one piece or are currently at pre-TS arcs, and also every now and then when i go into twitter , I sometimes see "trending; chapter [XXXX] one piece" or stuff like that. i do agree (as a huge OP fan) that so far TS has felt like a big downhill from pre TS and what the story used to be. Manga wise I cant say much bc in barely in WCI, but knowing the pacing of current OP, mixed with how underwhelming the storyline has been so far, its not surprise to see many ppl drop it and come back afterwards. Also waiting a whole week for an episode that doesnt add much to the storyline feels like such a punch in the face. But yeah, id say its a 50/50 ?

I don't think you can compare new series (for ex. Demon slayer/BNHA) that are obviously much easier to watch/understand bc of how short they are compared to series like OP, DBZ, Naruto, etc. New stuff always gets its peak and then it becomes nothing; it always happens in the anime industry. But it is an interesting fact ig lol. (also if i were a manga collector id probably want to start w a short series that i could actually fully collect instead of buying a shit tone of volumes of a series that seems like is never gonna end, such like OP. So, that might be another factor lol)

bro what lol the anime may have bad pacing but everything else is great, and the manga is amazing everywhere you don’t know wtf your talking about lol
