| I dont think any rape went on for 5 whole chps (maybe 5 pages). Btw there are rape scenes here and there in this so if you are really sensitive to rape, gore, hideous monsters, some disgusting scenes etc then stay out of it. |

| Very little in this story is done for shock factor alone, everything has important story connotations. If you're faint of heart you should probably skip this series altogether, but if you really wanna read it, I advise not skipping anything. The devil's in the details with these characters! |

It has heavy rape scenes, but I wouldn't call it unnecessary. This isn't Goblin Slayer or another edgy for the sake of edginess manga, rape has an impact on characters and it's relevant to the story, granted not always, but if it's not that relevant it doesn't last more than a panel and it doesn't happen as often as people led you to believe. The action in this series is very cool but at the core this is a character focused manga, the way they are and the experiences that morph them (good or dark) is what matters and I advise you to follow everything if you decide to get into this story. |

| You might wanna give Berserk a miss altogether if you're sensitive to depictions of sexual assault. At worst, it can feel quite gratuitous (the stuff with Wyald in the Golden Age arc is a particularly egregious example) but it does always tackle the topic with the weight and sensitivity it deserves. With that said, while it is my favourite manga, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to people who can't deal with that sort of material. |
