can someone explain the ending to me?

I liked the story of gangsta at the beginning and the characters they introduced, but then they didn't stop and added more and more characters and directions of the plot.
I just watched the last episode and kept wondering how they would dissolve the plot in the few minutes left.

I saw that there wouldn't be a season two so I have a question for the manga readers:
Is there an explanation for what happened in the last couple of episodes? What is it?

The manga stopped in the middle of the story thats why

The author, Kohske, got sick and didn’t continue the series for a while. Kohske continued it with a spin-off called Gangsta.:Cursed in 2017. I haven’t looked into that one so I don’t know how far that’s gotten, but that’s just from a glance. It’s unfortunate that it’s not continued, because I do love that anime/manga.

Unfortunately as far as I’m aware the writer of the manga died and therefore there will never be a conclusion.

The studio went bankrupt deadass days after the ending of the show so thats a major reason why it never got and ending

Unfortunately the anime doesn't give the whole story and we'll have to wait for a "solution" to the many 'arcs' that are going on and explanations to the characters per say.

The anime is just part or, I dare say, an introduction to the whole world of ergastulum. The manga is currently (as far as I know at least) stopped in the middle of the middle of the whole story or even at the middle-beginning of the whole story of the series.

It's a pain but it's what we have. I just hope that Kohske can finish her works after she gets better and that she gets better soon. The whole story seems way too interesting to not be finished.

Are you new to the Internet ?

Why would you post "this creator died" "a friend told me" without bothering to spend 5 sec on Google ?

Can you imagine how these constant death rumours make Kohske feel ?

She's got a serious illness, that's made it near impossible for her to work and her only major project got cancelled because of Manglobes bankruptcy.

Use Google before you post next time.
This isn't Facebook and we aren't 13yo girls spreading gossip.

Watched yesterday the final espisode (for the first time), and it's disappointing.

There is not END here and too bad we will never have a second season at all.

It started really well, but we have fare more open questions than answers.
