I think it's a great show but it's not a masterpiece imo. I'm not the biggest fan of Tanjiro but I like everyone else especially Rengoku and Inosuke. The animation is amazing and the soundtrack is also amazing.

As Long as the Sun, the moon, and the Earth exist, everything will be alright.

descent , 1st season - 6/10 a good show to get into for ppl new to anime , but if u have watched a descent amount of anime it will come out as generic action shounen

it has good fights from a animation perspective but for me I don't like shows carried by animation but ppl enjoy them so ya

I tried to be honest and not look like I am hating , don't want ppl replying about hating

Its meh. Characters are bland or annoying most of the time. Story isn't anything special or engaging. Backstories are kinda melodramatic and repetitive.

Overall, 6/10. Plus point for animation and OSTs.

Story - 5/10 generic ass story, as expected from most shounen but it uses a lot of plot convience which doesn't wanna make me give it a 6/10 or more

Peak moments- 8/10 it's pretty good at creating hype for some moments. Honestly, episode 19 was nothing special for me, just a generic power up but the movie had some pretty good moments.

Characters- 4/10 terribly written. Nezuko is nothing more than a plot device. Some characters aren't even bearable on screen.

Animation and soundtrack- 10/10 it's ufotable

Well its one of my favorites so you wont hear me complaining about it.

The story is simple and well executed coupled with the awesome animation and soundtracks by ufotable brings a treat for the viewers. I would also like to point out the lovable cast of actually well written characters and the demons as well.
Its power system is great as well, both for the Demon slayers and the demon, and the concept of ranking in not only demon slayer corps but for demons as well is quite interesting. This is the reason why people loved bleach as well and this is the reason why I like Kny.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

I did not like the main villain way of doing certain things like not allowing his name to be spoken even though he knows that the higher ups of the demon slayers know his name but besides my dislike for him I did enjoy the series

I love it, it's my favourite anime. I respect other people's views but what I think is that it's just beautiful. Tanjiro is so kind and gentle, Nezuko channnn is so cute. It's not a waste of time, not for me at least. I have watched the anime 3 times and episode 19 almost fifty times. Can't wait for the next season. Just 10 days more. 🤩

I think the show is ok, my issue is that most characters are pretty flat, they just pick a trait and base their whole personality around it. Animation is top notch and the story is interesting enough. Although sometimes they make really weird choices like trying to get us to care about Rengoku without barely showing anything about him in the movie. Solid 8/10 I’d say

PS: Zenitsu is just annoying and I’d wish he would shut the f*** up

It's a mediocre at best.
Don't get me wrong tho, i love demon slayer it was so enjoyable and entertaining, however i do expect more. And my main problem are the characters, yeah i mean like they're terribly written and pretty bland i guess, And the antagonists are also pretty generic. As for the story i think it's fine just as you would expect from a battle Shounen anime.
Animation wise it's definitely a 💯/10
And the musics Omg, Kamado tanjiro no uta, Rengoku Theme, Etc. It was all so fckin good.
But writing wise? Meh

Overall i do like the anime but, it's definitely overrated, atleast for me
(i'm an anime only btw✌️)

Demon slayer => 6.55/10

It’s fine. Despite what most Manga Readers claim the story definitely goes downhill as the writing relies way too heavily on plot convenience and cliche moments with characters that only get worse the more we know about them (Muzan, Zenitsu, Inosuke and fuck Nezuko). I think the manga is quite a poor piece of media but the anime significantly improves upon it with incredible animation, OST and fleshing out some scenes while cutting unnecessary explanations. I don’t think it’s perfect but it’s definitely way more entertaining than the manga so a solid 6/10. I will always maintain though that the only way people should consume Demon Slayer is through the anime… I really dislike the manga…

It’s story is not crazy. However, it nails everything else. It’s such a well made anime. The animation, music, flights, direction, and anything else is one of the beat I’ve ever seen.

People seem to underestimate how big of an impact Demon Slayer did on anime industry, but popculture overall. Thanks to it's success anime went even more mainstream than before and we noticed even more anime getting sequels or long awaited adaptations.
It is just my theory tho, but 2nd season of Hataraku Maou, Komi-san or Chainsaw Man we can indirectly thank Demon Slayer for.

Its good, liked the animation and fight scenes, but some characters are annoying and also the backstorys of every demon kinda makes it repetitive. Pretty enjoyable i guess i will give it around 6-6.5

Liked the anime. (not great but yeah doable for passing time) Felt the movie was cringe. The only scene that impressed me was zenitsu coming to the rescue. Other than that, pretty boring film. After 15-30 minutes every minute I was like, " why am I even still watching this". But yeah doesn't really matter. Saw the first episode of the new season. Yohooo this might make me like the mugen train arc, is what I thought but the rest is just the movie and nothing changed. Overall, anime was a standard 6.5 out of 10. Movie was 0/10. Ofcourse I was shit bored lol. There isn't any justification for me to give it a single star. But yea, not that interested in next arcs, but if I feel like it I might check out the next season. But most likely I won't.
