Do you think that this is going to be the final season? and so the manga will also come to the end? (i have no idea how much of manga content is normal for one episode, so idk if this is a dumb question)
(pls spoiler tag manga content which wasn’t animated yet)

.that's the point where I caught up to the mangabit I put it on hold so Idek if the arc is completed yet. Does the manga show any signs of ending?

I don't know whether the manga is ending or not, but one season with 11-13 eps cannot cover the remaining chapters - it would be a mess.

theres like 40 chapters that havent been animated, and the manga isnt close to done yet. i think it’ll probably be split up

Yeah considering they have got MHA S6 on schedule too I don't really see it happening anytime soon.

Yeah most likely. It's probably not ending soon though I can't quite exactly put my finger on it. It doesn't feel like the plot progression's preparing for some kind of inevitable end. All I know is that there's about 40-50 chapters left of content which shouldn't be crammed into this one season.

It would be really sad if they continue to milk this show, rather that finally let it have an ending. Three seasons were already enough.

i think they'll split s4 in 2 parts or make a movie? the manga is chaotic and messy so they could just animate it with the end being a cliffhanger, who knows.

Nope! The manga is still ongoing, with the current arc almost done (I believe?) Asagari released at the beginning of the year that he has finished the writing for the current arc, but there’s definitely still more that needs to be tied up before it’s over. I would guess the anime will be at least 5-6 seasons, maybe 7? It’s really hard to tell right now.

Well, I don't think it will get to the end of the plot (as it isn't near there)... but high chances it also won't be the last one, I think. 4 seasons are quite a lot + movie in less than decade is a lot. Attack on titan got to the fourth season after almost a decade (no idea about movies).

It would just be disappointing to see them ending it here without staying true to the manga. The manga even though a bit messy at parts, I'm still excited where asagiri takes it to. And BSD is one of those rare shows where it didn't get worse with each season so, it hopefully won't be the "milking"like most popular shows. And they're going for s6 with MHA so why not BSD as well

I have to agree with this. I am enjoying S3, but yeah. They should’ve left it there. I’ve read the manga and the current arc…it ain’t that good. Anime only fans will be very disappointed.
Pandora Hearts is the best manga ever made and deserves an anime reboot

lol yeah let's stop producing a popular show that has the manga still going on and give it a filler ending because someone on MAL think "3 seasons" is enough, that's what i call a genius xD

I thought the DOA arc was great for the first 35 or so chapters, but it became completely directionless after that. I'm also not fan of the current villain, but won't talk much about that since it's spoiler territory. Thankfully, the recent chapter gives me hope that the story will finally start going somewhere again.

I'd say it's impossible for BSD anime to end in a 4th season. There's still plenty of story in the manga. And you have to considerate that, even though BDS is not very successful worldwide speaking, this series is VERY popular in Japan, like, an incredible whole lot. Since the target audience are Japanese spectators, yeah, we'll see plenty more seasons from this manga. Like someone said before, this animation can easily reach 6 seasons or more, especially considering that there's still several novels that haven't been animated yet. One of them is Chuuya-centered so yeah, Bones still has a lot of money to gain from continuing to animate BSD.

Long answer: Asagiri did not finish the novel nor the manga yet and it's still on going so it's not over until Asagiri and Kafka choose to end the series
