I was gonna wait for the anime but then I got a sudden urge to read it so I started reading it and its amazing. I’m 50 chapters deep. The story is good. Jolyne is a very fun Jojo and Pucci is a great villain. So I recommend reading it

i know the anime comes out in like 2 months but I couldn't wait so i decided to read it last month and i don't regret it at all. im currently on pt 8 its definitely worth reading if you're considering it.

I personally would read it first, even with the anime on the horizon. While I have no doubt DP will do a good job adapting it (hell, they may make it better in some aspects), it'll save you the experience of waiting a week for every episode to know what happens. Based on the fact you made this forum post, it seems safe to assume you want to experience the story, so you may as well do it now instead of waiting half a year.

Also, it means you can read SBR earlier. Which is priority one, always.

Yep, waiting for new episode to drop is frustrating, reading the manga before watching the anime really is the best solution.

IMO I would just read it first. It does depends though, if you're very eager to see I'd recommend reading as you can still see the anime after, if you're not that eager you might as well just wait.

I would recommend waiting for it since it's only 2 months away and with the anime you may also get additional content that you didn't get in the manga.

Personally, I like going in blind to JoJo, since I've done that since Season 1. Especially during the 3rd part, and not knowing the true nature of DIO's stand, it was pretty hilarious and cool being surprised at the reveal, so if Part 6 has anything like that, and you enjoy being surprised, I'd hold off reading it.

Stone ocean is one of my least favourite parts but the part is still good, especially c moon fight onwards so yeah I would. Also, it means that you can read Steel Ball Run and JoJolion which are definitely araki's best parts.
