It's good that Slop leveling won the CR awards with such a power gap, Gaijin Weebs don't deserve good anime.
Not after what they did to frieren, kusuriya, and many others

Some interesting quotes from Nasu and Takeuchi's Tsukihime Remake interview:

Nasu: After we finished the work on Mahou Tsukai no Yoru and shortly before we started handling the Tsukihime remake, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone aired. I wasn't expecting anything at the time, but when I watched it, it turned out the first 60 minutes were an episode compilation, but each scene was powered up down to the last detail. That's all a remake needs to be amazing, but what came after that was also wonderful, wasn't it? When I got to the ending, it was like I experienced an entirely new anime. Watching that made me confident that what we were doing wasn't wrong. We did everything we wanted to, while keeping the old Tsukihime as a base model.

Famitsu: That means you only arrived at the decision to change the Tsukihime after you experienced something equivalent from a fan's perspective?

Nasu: I'm leaving the scenes the Tsukihime fans wanted to see where they were, of course. And on top of that, I fixed the parts that even Tsukihime lovers would consider unnecessary, so I believe you will enjoy this densely packed new Tsukihime.

Nasu: The Near Tsukihime, we mean. There's at least one aspect of the Far that I feel like it won't roll with the regulations, and I honestly don't know what to do with it...

About the Tsukihime manga:

Nasu: To tell you the truth, Shounen Sasaki was my greatest rival when it came to the remake's production. Sasaki's Tsukihime skillfully fixed all the problems of Arcueid's route and added in the best parts of Ciel's and Akiha's routes. It was a most wonderful manga adaptation and I needed to surpass it somehow in the remake. Then, at the end of 2020, when the PC version was complete, I called him to playtest it. He rearranged his whole schedule to spend 6 whole days in the Type-Moon office playtesting the game. Later, his overjoyed review reassured me. If I could make Sasaki this emotional, then I had nothing to fear.

Tsukihime manga is indeed the best adaptation of a VN route to a manga I ever saw.

Wonder why Sasaki Shounen does not write more things.

Like what? Will he cut out Kohaku's molestation backstory, give a happy end to Akiha (or tone down the incest aspects of it), or maybe make Doctor Tits Out and/or Bandage Man the Man-Behind-the-Man to SHIKI/Vermillion Akiha? O maybe one of those could be the Sidious to Kohaku's Vader...Doctor even has injections...

Also, thinking again, is a little weird Satsuki route is part of the Far Side. Yes she was a midboss on those routes only...but the divide used to be Near Side: Dead Apostles and Arc stuff; Far Side: Dirty Secrets of Tohno Family (Makihisa, SHIKI, Shiki's true ancestry details)...

Well, handhelds were always a huge market in Japan, and even bigger than consoles in the DS/PSP era, so I feel that it's fair putting them side to side.

Someone did a compilation of both, Arc and Ciel route fights with Vlov, in a video. total of 5 Hours (Jesus...also, voices included):

https://old.reddit.com/r/Tsukihime/comments/pnj5pw/vlovvrouve_saga_hotel_scene_to_end_of_fight_both/

Also:

>During the final fight against Vlov in Ciel's route, Shiki looks into his past and into his principle. And see's something mentioning what is possibly Avalon, which adds creddience to the dark six being the six fairies that made Excalibur theory. (5:05:40-ish) Also, based on the crimson moon in the background, "our ancestor" is probably Crimson moon.

LMAO, Dark Six were the primordial fairies of LB6 clans all along.

Excalibur was established to have received the ''blessings of the Moon'' way back in Extra's Materials, which if we assume the Six Faeries became the Dark Six as the first Dead Apostle created by the first True Ancestor - Crimson Moon, that does connect things since the Sub-Bells were responsible for forging Excalibur. Especially if you consider that the Six Sub-Bells are a system of Gaia's, and Gaia took in a lot of influence from Crimson Moon.

It's not that surprising. The theory that the Dark Six are the Six Sub-Bells is something that's been floating around since LB6 dropped, especially since Nasu said before there was a connection to something between FGO's story and Tsukihime Remake. He crossreferences things in different iterations within his multiverse all the time. Thats the literal point of a shared multiverse.

I'm fine with all this. Tsukihime's lore has felt isolated from the rest of the Nasuverse for the longest time, except for Zelretch and Aoko, so I'm glad things are getting connected like this.

Avalon doesn't suddenly cease to exist in Tsukihime's world, after all. It makes sense that such a huge deal would still leave a noticeable handprint on its world, regardless of what world that is.

On one hand, yeah, I can see it working, it can be that. The Primordial Dead Apostle was not born out of some rando humie sh*ts, but from 6 top tier faes. Also, in new lore it seems TAs are mostly dead not because of Arc going zerck on them thanks to Roa, they just got hunted down by their subordinates once they grew strong enough to defy them. It fits, as those 6 fairies are natural backstabbers (killed Cernunnos even if he forgave them, for example), and likely lead the assaults with the other ones.

On the other hand...chances are, Angel Notes Crimson Moon is gonna be a genderless Saberface, and his Knight-Arm is going to be Excalibur-like. =P

There, we got a Mooncancer Saberface SSR, for Notes collab. Now we only need Pretender and Alter-Ego (Morgan multi-personalities can fit the second, as a Summer Vivianne next years) ones for all classes to be full of Takeuchi fetish...

Nasu's Arcueid Route Play Memo has been translated by Petrikow on BL. The important part regarding why Nrvnqsr was replaced by Vlov in the Remake:

・I got shivers at the chuuni-power of the Nrvnqsr fight. It is evident how this would indeed become the breeding ground that birthed such a large quantity of chuuni writers later on.

・It breaks my heart in a variety of ways but, I’ll transfer Nrvnqsr into the special category. For the sake of expanding the world, I’ve decided that making a lower rank Ancestor the obstacle during the first half instead of Nrvnqsr is for the best.

・At the time Nrvnqsr was a counter to the “stereotypical vampire” but now I want to go with the “orthodox” style of vampire as a counter to the “special type of vampire”. We’re going full gothic. Simple powers too.

Since this time around Tsukihime is written with an expanding world - and subsequently sequels- in mind, it doesn't make much sense for a higher ranking DAA like Nrvnqsr to be the first Ancestor that gets defeated and therefore Vlov was the replacement as one of the weakest DAA. Guess this confirms Nrvnqsr is still around?

Well, Shiki had plenty of chances to show how badass he is in part 1 of the remake. Saving Nero for later when we truly get how insane this world is and how even more insane Nero is even by that world's standards, and for Shiki to still kill him later on, wouldn't really harm, only add IMO.

Nero dies too fast in the original and with us barely knowing anything about how broken he is when Shiki dumpsters him in the very first actual fight in the story.

She was heavely weakened by the 17th Dissection...she also states that in her normal form she would smash him very casually.

It was weird for Nero to die earlier and easier than SHIKI-Roa, being superior to him in every single way. Hell, in the OG I think Roa did not even uses lightning magic at all, just the Mystic Eyes of LIFE Perception he got from his host draining Shiki lifeforce when kids. Melty and Manga fixed that, remake followed.

So, yeah, 2 weak DAA, before serious business of Tsuki 2 in 2060.

Ehh sure, why not? It was inevitable. That being said, Seiba just kind of feels like she'd have the blandest possible moveset of any Fate representative.

...then again, "teen with knife" and "vampire girl with sharp claws" were never really flashy either.
