Why should I watch code geass?

For me , the first few eps werent much interesting . So probably try the season fully ... Bcoz not every anime they say being good is gonna make you like it . Just try watching it fully , it may change your opinion on attention span thing .

Code Geass doesn't start off as a masterpiece but the more you progress with the story the better it gets (at least for most people), especially after a certain point.
I see that you love Death Note, if you are waiting for psychological battles in this anime you just have to keep watching, i'll assure you there are plenty, specially in the second season, you'll hardly be disappointed under this point of view.

If the majority reviews you read said Code Geass is good, then the anime is good. Not all anime have a nice premise because it will take time to build up the story. It's the same happened to me when I first watched it.

Ot takes a few episodes to pick up, in my opinion a twelve episode anime your should give 3 episodes to get better and a 24 episode anime you should give 6 episodes, code geass has the best main character of all time and is just a really good show

The characters and how they change in the progressing story especially in the main character Lelouch, as well as amazing story telling and i cant forget about the ending for season two just phenomenal!

Most anime in general don’t have an amazing first impression. Try watching like 5-10 episodes of an anime, and if it’s not good then, you probably won’t like it. Well there are some exceptions though

Only the character of Lelouch vi Britannia and the beautiful ending are paramount, otherwise everything of this series is worse than worthless.
Side characters' are poorly written,
There's too much irrelevant high-school stuff,
R2 is very much unorganised and a complete mess.
Major plot points and characters are not given their due importance.
If you have not much time in hand then I don't recommend to watch this series

First few episodes are for character development for every anime so you can't judge an anime by first few minutes at least give it a try for few episodes and then judge the anime. If I am gonna give examples of how good this anime is then it will be a spoiler for you so you need to watch it yourself before getting spoiled.

The best part about the show is 50 episodes in (the ending), so if your attention span is as long as 6 minutes then yeah, you're not gonna make it.

Either give up on the show or elongate your attention span somehow.

If you take some scenes with fanservice and watch them in 0.25X speed you can see some anime titties , other than that it stays pretty much the same , also a bunch of insanely annoying side characters characters are going to show up with plot armor .

Save urself i watched it simply because how much people bragged about how amazing it was and all i got was annoyed by a good amount of characters and misunderstanding that could be resolved if people actually spoke their minds nevertheless do what u wanna do everyone has their own judgment for me personally code geas was not all that it was good but no way a perfect no flaws kinda show, perfection is a word people should not be flying around so casually but they do

Everyone has different tastes, no there's nothing wrong if you don't enjoy it. I do recommend giving it a chance to develop for at least a couple of more episodes. If you decide to continue, I think you'll really come to enjoy it. If not, don't feel the need to force yourself to watch it just because of how much everybody else raves about how good it is.

Well i think it's one of the most enjoyable anime you Will EVER watch, and also it has amazing protagonist and an amazing ending, and an amazing side character. You definitely have to give it a watch, it's a must watch anime imo^^

One of the first few shows I watched and it was worth the ride. If you like strategy go ahead,depends on what genres you like though
