Well, to be honest I didn't know that Kyoto animated Miss Kobayashi's Dragon maid. But still I think that your statement that Kyoto animation is better than Ufotable is a bit far fetched. Ufotable is great with fight scenes(especially Fate franchise) and Kyoto does not do shounen type of projects, so it is still not their field. All in all, I guess it is a very subjuctive when it comes to artstyles, however I do enjoy works by both studios (but I kind of prefer Ufotable)

it's season two and you don't know it's from Kyoani (something everyone talks about) and is in MAL? lol and I said that fights are not the highest point an animation can reach and I mentioned examples: Violet Evergarden and others from outside like Your Name, Kotonoha no niwa.

Man... I didn't care avout Kobayashi in the slightest so I wouldn't know. You just stated that Ufotable is worse and I said that its fight scenes are better. And answering your further point that Kyoto makes great animation of everything. Sure,it does but Ufotable does the same too. In all honesty, I don't know about the budgets of either (because I kind of don't care avout it).

I do respect your opinion as I do also prefer KyoAni over a lot of other studios but trying to objectively say KyoAni is better than Ufotable is a massive stretch.

this applies to any reputable studio, after all, no one works for free. many people come up with the argument that because it is a slice of life it is very animated but no studio would make a beautiful animation for maid dragin if not Kyoani, so this argument doesn't make sense, it's just to devalue the anime because it is way livelier than a lot of shounen with questionable animation out there.
