Mikey perfectly balances exceptional fighting prowess and childish and immature personality.
It still works out and doesn't make his character any less worse.

Him practicing martial arts since young age will obviously give him an edge, when competing against other kids his age, who had no such training. Taking on adults would cause a problem tho.

Of course he's OP lol. They all are. Takemichy the only one thats realistic for a 14/15 year old. I fuckin love the OP stuff tho, its hype. Being OP doesn't have to be. Bad thing.

hes been training in martial arts since he was a kid so it makes sense. also he doesn't always one hit ko his enemies so yeah pretty justified

Considering how young they are, I think everybody in TR is pretty "overpowered". Most of the characters are 13-15 and built like adults (or at least as strong as an adult, in Mikey's case) and it's just unreasonable for people this young to be like that... realistically, at least.

It's not inherently a bad thing, but it's a little jarring.

Not only mikey most of the characters in Tokyo revengers is overpowered and so many scene in manga is questionable like are they even human how tf they can even do that kind of stuff. I have read the manga and it was fun to read but there are tons of scene that doesn't make scene

miley is kinda, he did martial arts tho so not completely. But i think that everyone is overpowered in the sense that it’s overdramatized. Because it’s coming from their point of view. Everyone at that age exaggerates things, like how a school fight seems so big but it was guys trying to throw good punches at each other for five minutes before getting caught (haha).

His strength needs to be nerfed a lil bit to make it reasonable. A teenager cannot lift another teenager on one leg while giving a fatal kick to the head storng enough to make the opponent unconsious.

If we are talking about Tokyo Revengers anime, Mikey is probably one of the most op character. But if we are talking about all the anime in general, he is nothing. Make a comparison with Naruto (the anime), most of the character could easily kill Mikey becuse Mikey is just a normal human that fight without any power likebjutsus in Naruto. So thats why his strength is justified. So for who say that he is op without considering that most of the other anime characters that are actually op like Naruto, Luffy, Ichigo, Goku Saitama ecc. should re-think about what he said.

I know that Mikey learn martial art and he was very talented on it,but just for an reminder he still in middle school,and yes he was ironicly op,it was very wierd that an middle schooler can beat 100 member of a gang,like... back when i was still in middle school the strongest thing that i do was lifting two wooden table,Mikey power is just not normal,he was 15,not to vilify mikey character or the show but this is just my honest opinion,even though Mikey power is to op,is still enjoying the show.
