Oh you got that wrong season 1 adapted till chapter 33 season 2 skipped a lot and ended on 86 so some content will be cut from the movie

yeah , i dont want to spoil much. But i think they will show the whole "school" part which repeated five times ( manga reader u get me right?) And just wrap it up , cause that "arc" feels like it was made for a movie personally.

There's only one big arc left so the possibility of it getting a Season 3 is almost impossible since the choice was to do a Season 3 or Movie (can't have both).

Season 2 didn't skip a lot as well, yes they did skip some stuff but those stuff are slice of life chapters that have little to no impact to the overall story. But I do also recommend reading the manga because even if those chapters don't impact the overall story, they're still really good nonetheless. You can start at Chapter 32 if you don't want to read from the beginning, that's the start of Season 2.

There isnt enough content for full season 3 and a movie imo. If the series slowed down the pace that they adapted the materials, I could see an argument for adapting 86-100 as a movie, and then 100-122 as a final season, but I doubt that the studio would suddenly slow down that much and making based only on those chapters would probably spoil the ending at least to an extent.

The climatic penultimate arc is told 6 times from the perspective of each of the 5 sisters plus Fuutaro, and a bunch of that can be cut and/or reorganized to shave off some content and still tell a cohesive (and hopefully satisfying) narrative. I do think some good moments are gonna get cut or rushed through to fit it into a movie. In fact, that part gets a lot of criticism from manga fans so it might even help the series to change it.

The movie will most likely be the end of the series. If anything, I can see them releasing the movie and then some OVA style one offs detailing some of the cut stuff. But that is probably unlikely unless the movie has a super successful run and even then it probably wont be the case. Id be happy to be wrong, but i doubt it.
