Is Whole Cake Islands pacing worse than dressrosas

It's more bearable than dressrosa but still pretty bad at times.

Yes, it is just as bad but the fact that whole of Dressrosa arc was just a single day makes it worse. I'll suggest to switch to Manga and consume Manga for the whole cake arc and watch anime from Wano arc as it gets much more bearable and animation also gets better.

I mean not really, dressrosa was long as shit with the same Rebecca backstory about like 500 times but the katakuri vs luffy fight was 21 episodes. Honestly katakuri vs luffy is probably my favourite fight in op so I don’t really care but dressrosa probably has the worst pacing of both.

no wci is one of the best arcs Dont read the manga for it wtf

For me it was more intense than dressrosa. It had some of the best fight scenes of One piece with even higher stakes!

Dressroas's pacing gets more worse when you realize that it was all done in one day over the course of over 100 episodes, and also when you stop to count how many times the Rebecca flashback was shown
The entire anime has incredibly frustrating pacing but (at least to me) for some arcs like WCI it's fine, but for others like Dressrosa it's pretty inexcusable

If im ever going to rewatch one piece I would read the manga only for dressrosa thats how bad the pacing is

No Dressrosa's pacing was horrendous. The pacing isn't what drags WCI down, it's the writing. It had great set ups but fell flat. I don't think WCI did any favors for Sanji either. The thing most people remember is Luffy fighting Katakuri.

Whole Cake was the arc that made me put One Piece on hold for 2 years. I finished the 2nd half in less than a week so you have to be in the mood.

what. how? In WCI the story went through smooth af, the only moments were the pacing was shit was when Luffy got stuck in the forest (around 7-8 epiasodes on that) and in the Katakuri fight (but it was better than Doflamingo's regardless). Dressrosa's pacing is out of the question, cant even be compare the 2

It’s just as long and can be as boring but like someone else said it’s better than watching everyone hear rebbecas lame backstory for 100 episodes
