| Short answer: No, unless you like a shit mc, violence, gore, blood, dissection of lolis, child-rape, incest, killing, madness, rape, nudity, madness and madness. No really, I'm not kidding. The only reason this show was acclaimed back then was because it was completely uncensored. Huh, the show has limbless naked Lolis covered in blood and animal abuse. I personally like none-of it, mainly because it feels excessive and needless. Go watch the first episode and see for yourself. |

| some scenes were off, so not so memorable series for me. i don't know how to put this, but i got scared at some parts, but maybe just because i'm someone who would never adore gore. the op is great though, like very suited for the real mix emotions that the anime would relay. give it a try, it's a classic |

| Eh. It starts with a bang, then it turns into your average Harem (?) anime with silly Harem anime (and ecchi) jokes with some extreme graphic gore and even rape scenes in between. If this doesn't warn you that the themes and focus are all over the place then idk what would. I'd recommend watching it, it has some interesting violence (if you're into it) and a lot of edgy moments that fluctuate between cringe and epic. I gave it a 6/10. Oh,its OP song is one of the best ever. Warning: it ends in manga bait but I didn't even bother with it. |

| It's good if your are an edgy teen watching it mid 2000s or it's one of your first animes xD I'd say, watch it and see for yourself, just don't expect much. |

| I personally loved it. If you don't mind gore & nudity then go for it. Storyline, music , characters are all amazing so hopefully you won't regret it. Also it's just 13 eps so no brainer |

| The series is extremely divisive - arguably the most divisive reasonably well-known series that I know of. So good luck getting any kind of a meaningful answer or an objective one. No one can tell you how you will feel - what you will take away from, read into an artwork or not, and what will be your own personal experience with it. To me, it's a phenomenal one-of-a-kind series both stridently beautiful and admirable in so many respects. One of the most memorable of anime and up there with my top favorites among all anime and other forms of media I've viewed. Others virulently despise it. It's the type of series you just have to watch for yourself to actually know, decide, and be able to draw your own conclusions. To an extent, every series and every piece of media and art is like that. But some obviously more than others and some epitomize it. This more than most epitomizes that spirit to the core. And unlike the comments put out by some of its detractors, my love and appreciation for the series is absolutely not borne of any teenage or middle school nostalgia of the mid-2000s when it was released. I didn't even know Elfen Lied existed back then. I didn't start watching anime until autumn of 2016. I didn't watch Elfen Lied until 2019 for the first time. I have zero childhood nostalgia for it. So as said, no one can tell you whether you'll actually like any series or not, but especially ones like this. I would say you would be someone more inclined to like it if you have an open mind, don't require flashy animation, like drama, like tragic and transgressive/subversive romance, like horror, like or don't mind 80s and 90s-style slasher or anime OVA ultraviolence and general graphic violent and sexual content in your series, like series which seem ambiguous or not easily classifiable as far as genres and tonally shift wildly to encompass everything from action thriller to Slice of Life, and have patience or even preference for navel-gazing exploration of the thoughts and raw emotions/feelings of a small and intimate, core group of characters. |
