Personally I've rated this show a 10, idk why but this show manages to hit the sweet spots of all my preferences! I love the idea of time travel itself, so watching it get executed well just makes me so damn happy~~~
Maybe I'm hyping this up too much, but for me, this is one of my favourite shows of all time ngl. Its low popularity is borderline criminal, so I really hope the ratings increase so people can watch this masterpiece!

I'm guessing it's super popular in China though, as of now it's a 9.8/10 on bilibili!

A solid 9, seriously, what more can you ask of this?
Some may say the animation, and yes, isn't the best some times, but I ask then, did if ever didn't delivered when the scene actually asked for good animation? My answers is no, just remember the basket match.

I'm also sure that some will be able to point some plot holes and inconsistencies in the story, but they're minor, and we have to give it credit for trying to do something actually hard to realize.
Not only that, any minor faults the story may have is being buried by all the quality and everything else.

A solid 9.

Same, I also rated this donghua a 10 and felt it to meet all the requirements. Link Click has an interesting premise about time travel: it is mysterious, suspenseful, and it feels like a thriller. This story is hard to predict because it's hard to deduce how Xiaoshi's actions altered the course of the present; I never expected the ending of episode one, which is what brings me to loving Shiguang Dailiren. Comparing Xiaoshi's character to Lu Guang, they're polar opposites in personalities and the way they think. I like Xiaoshi more because of his outgoing personality, he's funny at times, and he is a caring person. I love their character designs, their appearance, and the clothes that made them stand out. The choreography for the dance in the opening is creative. The ending/outro to this show has really nice visuals, and so does the rest of the show.

I decided to point out likings about this show. It would also be nice to hear any more of your thoughts that you liked about this show. I think the final score for this anime could range from 8.7 - high 8.8

I like to hear what you say, I read some of your comments in different forums, and they're all worded very well. I have no complaints about the animation, to be honest, I think it's the art style that counts. Nor do I have any complaints about plot holes or inconsistencies in the story. Hopefully, you write a review for this show, you have a way with words.

MAL scores means nothing.
Lots of good anime with low scores, lots of bad anime with high scores.
But still, the jump the score had in the next 24 hours after the finale is impressive.

I'm still "shilling" this everywhere, a lot of people are arriving late for the ride and as most end liking as much as us the scores may increase even more.

Dropping to 8.4 would be too much . I think if it drops then the rating would be around 8.70

Can only happen if s2 is as bad as Neverland s2 and still Neverland s1 fell from 8.8 to 8.6 only ... Although Neverland s1 was complete by itself and was really popular and this is not so s2 can have worse effect on its score

I was not expecting this rating, I was expecting it to become #20 at 8.87, not that today it would already jump to 8.88. And looking the stats these past too day this is despite a LOT of people giving it lower than 8.0 scores.
