| After episode 11, I got curious and Google'd 'あらやしき' to see If there's any meaning behind the name, why was it chosen. It turns out it means「阿頼耶識」in Japanese, 'Eight Consciousnesses' in English. A Buddhism classification, something something about Karma, storage of impressions of previous experiences etc... The radio tower is where the Archive is located, right? So maybe the name has something to do with the plot and the reasoning of Archive? Just a thought. The room is later shown again in episode 7, the tree can be seen has grown quite a bit. |

So maybe the radio tower is the AIs tower of Babel, and the one spoken language is Archive. Interesting...I think Archive is sort of a database for storing information. I found a post explaining 'Arayashiki' and theory about it's connection to the story on Reddit. |
