ITT: cuts probably requested by Isayama

>Roeg commenting on Historia doing it "with a local she didn't even marry."

>The baby subplot's signifigance as a whole.

>Eren outlining his theory on the source of Ackerman's powers. The table talk discarded Eren's more reasonable side and got rid of his criticisms of Armin and legitimate concerns about Mikasa.

So I agree with these changes. You'd have to be delusional to think the anime would be different in outcome. At least Isayama is making an effort to polish up the ending and get rid of misleading plot
points. The anime will give us an 'improved' shit ending. Will you continue watching? I think I will but my hype is zero.

The final arc was rushed, the ending was not bad.

sure the ending was trash but I am still looking forward to the rumbling scene, I will probably watch the rest after that too but not in high spirits lol

agreed looks like Isayama is removing much of the red herring in the anime version

The ending was really bad IMO but I enjoyed it. It's unfortunate that Eren Ymir and Historia were retconned totally. If some bad dialogues were slightly changed I wouldn't mind the ending as much. But because of the ending AOT just lost all of its reread potential for me. I'd probably like it less.

I'm looking forward to Floch and the iconic moment the rumbling gets activated.

I will only watch the most anticipated scenes on YouTube. After the ending I feel there's no reason for me watch the entire episodes anymore.

I will definitely still watch it. I'm curious to see if they clean up certain things and improve the dialogue! That would make loads of a difference. Also curious how it all translates into the animation.

Mappa doesn't have enough time to properly animate the most demanding parts, let alone do an original. They will do it panel by panel.

Even if you like the ending the best thing you can hope for, is for them to make it a small cour like 8 to 10 episodes, up to 130~133 (assuming it is about 1.5 chapters per episode).

And make the rest into a movie, so that maybe good directing and animation can make this trash palatable.

Rumbling scene with all the titans being CGI and low frames will probably look atrocious actually.

I am using SVP for frame interpolation to 48fps (because without it I get insane judder in panning scenes on my 144hz screen).

I am not sure how much that will help but it should be somewhat watchable lol. Hopefully Mappa won't skimp on the budget there.

With due respect there shouldn’t be any anime original ending as this is the ending isayama choose. Whether the anime be received as badly as the manga who knows. Could very well be another demon slayer effect if mappa nailed down the animations.

an anime original ending by isayama would be good, I think he had a different ending in mind in his interview from 2018. I would love if he can write a Manuskript/draft of 100-120 pages that plays after chapter 135 with a different direction than the love theme in the last 3 chapters
