Which isekai world have the most interesting chemistry to Rudeus and Eris: No game no life, Bookworm, Re:zero, Rising of the shield hero, Konosuba, Overlord, Slime,... Pls tell me what do you think about this! ! ! |

In that case, I will offer my perspective on volume 1 of Bookworm and end of first cour of MT. I would imagine a hypothetical situation where Rudeus and Eris stop by in the city where Myme lives. They bump into each other. They get to know each other and Myme finds out that Rudeus is a mage from another world and gets excited. At the end of the first cour of MT, Rudeus' magic is quite advanced, and he should be able to make paper. One similarity between Rudeus and Myme is that they have both made observations on the literacy of their respective world. In their world, books are really expensive because there isn't a way to efficiently mass produce them. I don't remember if Ascendance of a Bookworm has a printing press, but I don't recall the Mushoku Tensei having one. (Unless you count the magical printing press that is used in the adventure guild, which isn't used to produce books) A topic about books could arise from their conversations since Rudeus and Myme both have an interest with books. Now here's the kicker. If somehow Rudeus and Myme somehow find out they are from different versions of Japan in their past lives, how would they react. Perhaps, Rudeus might notice Myme can write in Japanese and make a comment about that. I haven't gotten very far with Bookworm yet, but I don't think this universe would be too interesting for Rudeus and Eris. Eris prefers action and adventure. Rudeus can adapt to settling now, but his goal is to start a family and improve his magical capabilities. I don't think the Ascendance of a Bookworm world can offer much for them. Out of all those universes, I think Shield Hero might be the best. It is action and adventure oriented, so Rudeus and Eris can flourish. Shield Hero is a LitRPG, so it would be interesting to see what Rudy and Eris' levels and stats would be. I don't think they are as strong as Nao and his group, so they would need to train to get to their level. Thanks for such detail comment of yours. I'd agree about the Bookworm, I can imagine Rudy and Eris help Myne with the paper work too. Rudy can create paper but I don't think it'd be the best quality like the one Myne make, also I think Rudy would sugget of a plan like using Myne power to make more monster trees and with Eris to cut down and harvest. They gonna turn into a factory at that point lmao. Shield hero could be more interesting but I don't think Rudy would try to do anything too dangerous that may harm Eris so it's depend really. |

Yeah, the collaboration between Rudy and Subaru is nice to read, Subaru finding a way to how magic worked in MT world and how he met the main cast of MT is quite funny (especially Orsted). I wish Rifujin and Tappei would makes more of it since I would love to see the interaction between other cast member of MT to the cast on Re:Zero. Even though many people said that MT manga is a weak adaptation, there are few things that the fans of MT would enjoy from reading it, such as more original novel chapter by Rifujin, the author of MT himself. |
