How could the colossal titan just disappear?

I started reading the manga today and noticed that the colossal titan just disappears after the attacks on the wall, different from other titan shifters whose titan body always is still there until it evaporates, so why does only the colossal just disappear? If that's explained later on in the manga and wasn't explained in the anime until now, then please don't answer to this thread lol

I'm actually up to date with the anime and I want to finish the manga before the last chapter is released to avoid even more spoilers than I have anyway gotten, I guess I've just overlooked the information about how the colossal titan disappears while watching season 4

they covered it in s4 but I forgot. My guess without seeing would be that bertolt just used up its body mass in steam to the point that it's like it disappeared into thin air.
