If everything shown in an anime would have a point or a huge reason behind it then the anime would be like 5-6 epsiodes long. I hope you understand.

There is a point. It's revealed right at the end of WN. This is not some huge spoiler or anything, but basically he did it because he could.

Look carefully, the anime shows a picture on his PC of an underaged girl in the bathroom taking a bath while he is jerking off to it.

People need to understand that he is trying to better himself slowly and wants to live this life to its fullest . Wants all the relations he can have . Give his fullest. Not doubt has some bad sides to him as any person has . People should read the LN to understand his character better and side character here r not that dumb . They see redues being strange and diff. as much as i would love to see that(^_^;) i think he has formed a mother son bond with her so both way it is not right for him to be with his mum-physically coz blood relation And mentally coz he kinda thinks of her as his mum

I guess all I can say is humanity is imperfect,and self proudly being, so yeah it's normal to not agree with someone else cause we think or atleast we expect ourselves to be the right one doesn't matter what the reality is, and keep in mind that any cr@p can happen as long as if we are talking about humans here, so yeah always be cautious, and yeah try to always reach for the right one, right choice, or atleast to the one which makes sense.

i never said it is justified. you asked why was it shown in the anime or written in the source material. So, I just pointed out the reason why the scene was shown. The scene just showed that Rudy was on the path of no return. He destroyed everything in his past life. The last person who had any hope for him gave up on him. Also, in the WN, even as his bro was beating him up, he couldnt make any noise as he had not opened his mouth to speak in years which is also why he was not able to shout at the teenagers in the way of the truck.

I know you will ask whats the point of all of this. The author just wanted to hammer the point that in his past life, Rudy was beyond any point of redemption.
