The third episode of Sasameki Koto is entitled "First Kiss" and after watching it I was wondering what do all of you consider to be your favorite shoujo-ai/yuri girl x girl kiss scene in an anime. It could be dramatic, unwarranted, comedic, anything. AND if you should so choose, what was your first kiss like iRL?

My favorite was in Loveless (though not a yuri anime) when Yamato kissed Kouya on the train. It's not the best, but my favorite. It was sudden, unexpected, I liked the music, the sun came through the windows, and they made a cool couple.

My first came when I was 11. There was a girl of the same age that went to public school that lived I think 3 houses down from mine but she never really came out much, her parents must have kept her inside a lot. Newark wasn't the best place to live. I met her one day playing in the snow alone in front of her house and we became friends. (She was 1 of 2 friends I had that were girls). Long story short she was moving away and I was upset. For some reason I didn't know why, I cared about her. Before she left I gave her an untimely kiss. I never heard from her again. She was my first crush, though I didn't recognize that until a year to a year and a half later.

YES! I adore Miyuki (she is Youko in another anime *cough cough*). What she had to go through from Kaori, the aftermath, remaining the head of the student coucil and trying to keep tabs on Shizuma as the Etoile (who was off finding playthings), then on top of it all Nagisa turns up. That kiss was both awesome and absolutely horrible. Damn you Shizuma! >< /rant

My favourite kisses (that I can think of);

- Sei kissing Shizuma on the corner of the mouth
- Yumi kissing Sei on the corner of the mouth
- Shizuru kissing Natsuki in her sleep
- Natsuki kissing Shizuru in the church ruins
- Wapourif sneaking in and kissing Morinas <3 (yuri?)

You mean from Mai-Hime? Shizuru kissing Natsuki was a little creepy... but I wondered when I saw that if it happens at all often iRL?

Yeah, from Mai Hime. I mean the kiss where Natsuki is napping on the verandah - not the possible rape scene (although imo, Shizuru didn't touch Natsuki she just laid with her). I think that kiss is so sweet. She's completely in love with this girl and she finds her sleeping like an angel and gives her a chasted kiss.

If anyone does it in real life...Well, I haven't. I have drawn a moustache on someone while they slept, but that's not really the same thing.

in the first episode of Kannazuki no Miko. Though technically Himeko was unconscious, it was still a cute kiss.

I don't know... all yuri kisses are good ones. Except flesbian kisses :/ So cough cough, Ga-Rei.

But the most poignant ones were:

- Shizuma x Miyuki
- Sei x Shiori
- Yumi x Sei <-- I personally love this one

I think I like manga kisses better:

- Fumi x Yasuko (YES, it was a good kiss, even though I know you guys hate her)
- Mari x Akko (from Troll Friends)
- NANA x HITOMI (best hug, best kiss, best sex--hands down favourite manga couple of all time)
- Yae and Chisato (Hanjuku Joshi)
- Setsuko x Yukino (LOL)

Yuri kisses that should happen:

- Fumi x Akira
- Mari x Akko (and NOT have them fumble with excuses over it)
- Canaan x SUGOI

Yeah, I admit it, Ga-rei's shouldn't even be considered a real yuri kiss. Nor should NANAs... But I can dream. |:

I don't like Yasuko very much, but she is pretty suave with the ladies. +Rep for that.

Troll friends. That's what I will refer to it from now on as. It fits the manga quite nicely.

I don't know about the best... I guess the Ga Rei Zero pocky was cute.... and on the other end of the spectra... I think that Yamibou kiss, was kinda gross....

I like Natsuki-Chizuru interaction... very very much

And will always be expecting Achan x Fumi...

Don't get me wrong... haha... You know how they say that you either like Yamibou or you don't? I was one of the people who liked it... I liked it...
After all that chasing, the Hatsumi x Hadzuki, was a must...after all that angst of running around with a big sword and the falling bandages... I liked everything, the coming to wake her up, and Hadzuki speaking... but that string of saliva, llong, thinck and left hanging in there...I dunno, that kind of turned me totally off....
