Nice, colorful, clear artwork and expressive animation, likable characters and good dynamics between them, pretty good messages and a bunch of good themes explored in surprisingly subtle and nuanced ways. It's both very entertaining - although some parts in the first half were pretty infuriating - and much smarter than it looks like. Kill la Kill |
