| How does Ash always fall for Team Rocket's dumb cons? This one was weak even by their standards. Also if you are in a 1v1 elimination match and your best pokemon is Furret...you're in trouble. We are sure all competitors have 8 badges right? |

| That conversation Ash and Gary held was very heartfelt, it was one of the best moments to see as an adult. Although when did these two became so nice to each other? XD |
| Ash and Gary's development here is so great, they have gradually got more and more respect for each other. Ash lighting the fire with Ho-oh's flame, the same Pokémon he saw when leaving Pallet Town, is also so thematically perfect. |
