Well, I've heard people recognise the show's title as being an allusion to the hidden and imaginative world that hides outside our vision... But I've never heard somebody mention Giacomo Leopardi's "infinito" which is basically a poem where he exposes what his young self used to "see" beyond an hedge that used to block his view. And considering the garden wall is literally an hedge in the cartoon, I'm quite amazed at the fact that nobody ever noticed this parelalism. |
