| Photokano seems to go the right way from the start. With kawaii girls and somewhat like-able main character. But it just went south somewhere around the middle. The story starts with a seemingly slow approach to introduce the heroins in the story. The main heroin for the start seems to be Niimi Haruka, which is a childhood friend of the main character. It goes really smoothly towards episode 6 where everything seems to go off in a good way. Was hoping that it will keep going smoothly till the end, but something just had to happened. Through out episode 7 - 13, the anime seems to have fallen to the "omnibus format" side. That is where everything seems to turn south and it somewhat turns to a seemingly unenjoyable anime. For what I suggest, you should just watch up to episode six, well around Niimi Haruka's arc. I don't see any reason to follow through with the story, because it just breaks the good start of the whole anime. Well good luck with however you watch this anime... |

| Too generic, I had to look it up to recall what Photokano even was. Seems like another lackluster anime with cutesy girls, short arcs to appease the sexually frustrated teenage viewers. With a 6.31 mean score I think it speaks for itself, stay away unless you're really bored and want to see a generic romance show. |

| Literally the first line of the top review on the photokano entry: Before watching this anime, you should know the definition of "omnibus format". You only have yourself to blame for not knowing what you got yourself into tbh. If you don't like the omnibus format, do some research to make sure a show isn't like that. Quite a few VN7dating sim adaptions are like that, for obvious reasons. |
