| Just a random question that I'm curious about. The highest note that a piano normally can produce is a 4th octave C, right? Can we tune it higher so that it can play a 4th octave D? Or the piano wire will break? |

| I don't know about a piano, but I know you can tune a violin higher than it is, so it stands to reason you should be able to tune a piano higher, since they're both string instruments. However, there's a chance that over-tightening the strings would make the string break. |

| The thinner & shorter it gets, the higher the note will be? I know there's a limit. But I don't think anyone has every tried tuning a piano any higher. |
