Intelligence wins against power (anime)

Hey. It was kinda hard to explain in the title, but I thought it would be kinda cool to watch an anime where you follow a character who doesn't have any powers (or at least is greatly inferior in terms of power compared to his opponent), yet closes the gap between them by being more intelligent than him.

Basically what I'm searching for is a guy who is very powerless, winning against his opponent because he is more clever or thoughtful about the situations the characters are thrown into. It doesn't have to be a detective story. It can also just be a character who isn't very strong, and therefore has to think outside the box to win against his opponent.

An example for this could be in Death Note, where L outsmarts Light Yagami, even though Light Yagami got the upper hand because of his death note.

This is just one example. I don't really know other anime that has this kinda theme, so I can really only think about L versus Light in DN. Therefore I would be grateful to see you recommend me something like the above.

Just tell me all the different anime that you can think of. It doesn't have to fit perfectly, just gimme everything that comes to mind. ;)

One Outs, no need to worry with it being a sports anime. It's pretty good

All of these are sports anime, hope you find something you like

One Outs - MC doesn't really strong so he can only pitch a relatively slow fast ball. But he keep winning with his intelligence and brilliant psychological trick

Kuroko no Basket - MC seems weak, short and lack of basketball skill, but he's quite smart and aware of his surroundings which enable him to be one of his team main power

Baby Steps - Just the other two, MC has a disadvantage in terms of power. However he's an "all-A" student, diligent and has a good analytical thinking. He started late than the others who want to go pro, but steadily he managed to catch up

I think you will like some of these.

Shinsekai Yori- don't wanna spoil anything but theres definitely a vibe of intelligence vs raw power in this anime (falls into the creepier sort of anime idk if youd like)

Re-zero - fighting against horrible odds with nothing but progressive pain and experience gained from it

haikyuu- sports anime, combatting serious disadvantages in a sport with help of teamwork and skills ( I think this counts as some sort of intelligence along the way)

don't know if u like battle of wits
but psyco pass is something similar to DN with mc and villian being smart

Starting on psycho pass now.
I saw One Outs one time, but for some reason i didn't continue watching it at some point. It was pretty good. Might watch it after psycho pass

Initial D - an anime about street/mountain racing, the main character's car is slow while most of the opponents have twice the amount of horse power his car has, but he competes with them by using experience, intelligence and skill. this may not sound like much but its worth checking out
