| Katsugeki Touken Ranbu Plot: The year is 1863, the tumultuous samurai era is coming to an end. Japan is split between the pro-shogunate and anti-shogunate factions. | Eps 3 Quite a bit more exposition and still screens than I was hoping for. It isn't as bad as ReCreators though, but it is working in that direction. The character art and brief action scenes are the best points of the show so far. However, we have still only encountered a single type of enemy and I swear the show is re-hashing the action animations of the enemies every time. The backgrounds are very plain and minimal, music (i can't even remember hearing any), and the rest of the art is just boring. Even the cool action scenes are immediately followed by lame banter between the characters killing any built up tension. This lame banter plagues throughout each episode and getting worse now that they are even reusing the same jokes already. This show isn't looking like I will be finishing it. |

| Eps 4 As good as this show looks and the action picked up with new enemies, the story just isn't there to really care about. Put all of the incredibly lame banter in there that never stops this anime just isn't great. I could care less about any of the characters and it doesnt look like the show is going to focus on any particular single one. consider this show good to look at and that's it. I am dropping this show as demons randomly fall from the sky. |

| I have decided to drop this show. I'm just not that into it at the moment and don't feel like watching it week to week. If it picks up, let me know and I might binge it at the end of the season. |
