Great to hear. You might find some points of comparison with your favorite Future Boy Conan, seeing as how they're both 1978 adventure shows from esteemed directors -- just a thought.

Cool to see that you're watching Takarajima. Awesome show. I hope you cover it on the podcast.

Just so you know. The Golden Kamuy manga is better paced than the anime and the art is better.

What anime romcoms do you consider on a similar level to Maison Ikkoku? Also as a side note, I am hesitant to start Urusei Yatsura as from what I have heard, it doesn't have romantic progression, is this true and if it is do you think it would still be worth trying if I love Maison Ikkoku?

Really? She doesn't seem to have that wild-eyed, fanged look from the show...fanart, maybe?

Hey, I've been meaning to ask - who is the character in your profile pic? It looks a lot like Lum, but I don't think it's her, am I right?

Heyo. Thanks for accepting.

Nice to meet you :)

Enjoyed your Ghost Hunt review! Although you admitted that it's somewhat of a stereotypical horror flick, your argument for the show is compelling enough to make me wanna watch it.

I notice you've also reviewed a wealth of golden classics, some that are actually favorites of mine. Good to see another vintage anime fan!

So, should I watch "Aa! Megami-sama!?"
link9us Dec 13, 2016 12:08 PM
But with one should i start with first, Yamato, GE999, or Harlock.

Ok so my other question is, in what specified order do you recommend for the Leiji Matsumoto metaverse. I have seen countless articles and different opinions on how to watch this franchise in its preferred chronology, but they all differ so much its hard to decide what to go with.

The way i see it is Yamato was the very first series so maybe its best to start there. But others have mentioned that the Harlock saga would be the best cause it introduces a key character that will be shown throughout most of matsumoto's works. Honestly with Leiji Matsumoto, specifically the starblazers and galaxy express saga's are not really in any sort of continuity, aside from a few prequels taking place in an earlier time line. Or movie sequels. Well i basically want to watch it with the truest and most clear direction as possible, as to not miss out on certain tropes or cameo's.

I read your review on Yamato Season III. But i can't seem to find the series any where, do you have any idea or happen to know where you watched it or downloaded it? Torrents or otherwise, i don't care.
