The entire spectrum of super robot shows should not be judged, based on your review with raideen, well raideen it self was pretty basic and bare bones during its era. You deffinitly have to check out some super robot series that came before and certainly after, the late 70's in paticular really evolved the Super Robot genre and started incorporating much more overarching character development and unique story idea's. Don't get the wrong idea, im not saying your review is wrong because I did not like Raideen that much either and felt it pretty lackluster especially compared to gatchaman which aired 3 years earlier. HOw ever I hate seeing somone turned off by the Super robot genre just by a singular series, beacuse the robot genre has alot to offer if you know where to find it.

Also, my friend noticed that you dislike Souten no Ken (aka Fist of the Blue Sky). Please fix it as soon as possible. Thank you.

You gave Utawarerumono, the pinnacle of ecchi/mecha/romance/fantasy/sci-fi anime, low score yet Black Lagoon got a much higher score. You certainly made a mistake so correct it as soon as possible.

With kind regards,
Someone with good taste

Great to hear. You might find some points of comparison with your favorite Future Boy Conan, seeing as how they're both 1978 adventure shows from esteemed directors -- just a thought.

Cool to see that you're watching Takarajima. Awesome show. I hope you cover it on the podcast.

Just so you know. The Golden Kamuy manga is better paced than the anime and the art is better.

What anime romcoms do you consider on a similar level to Maison Ikkoku? Also as a side note, I am hesitant to start Urusei Yatsura as from what I have heard, it doesn't have romantic progression, is this true and if it is do you think it would still be worth trying if I love Maison Ikkoku?

Really? She doesn't seem to have that wild-eyed, fanged look from the show...fanart, maybe?

Hey, I've been meaning to ask - who is the character in your profile pic? It looks a lot like Lum, but I don't think it's her, am I right?
