David imo you should give Golden Time a watch. I got hooked to it while my friend dropped it at episode 3. So give it a try and see for yourself.

Yes! I think it's an amazing anime. Although, it may not be all that romancey, shoujo type. It's been a long time since I've watched it but I think it is a bit dark too. It is a definite must-watch! Check it out :D

I watched Golden Time a while ago and from what I remember it was a good watch. I'm not a fan of Romance, though.

I dropped it, but mainly because it was so unbelievable and I didn't care for the plot...or the romance tbh, but I'm not a fan of Toradora!, so don't take me seriously. -.-'

@Muzakftw Yep! I believe it takes a lot of patience to be able to watch romance anime. The characters often get out of hand and make stupid mistakes which could even drive me mad. I remember I skipped a coupe episodes, though. The ending's alright, I guess.

I just wish there was some action, ever. It takes 20+ episodes for anyone to even hold hands and that's just slice of life with some romance at the end to me. T.T And I just stopped caring when it got unbelievable. I just couldn't handle that "twist" or whatever that was.

there are some bullshit supernatural plot devices thrown in throughout the second half which is just completely unnecessary and bumps the show down from a 4 to a 3

I just didn't care for it. I only remember the Christmas scene, and felt that just the whole thing was a bit awkward. I tend to like the tsundere types, but it just didn't live up to the hype for me.

In my opinion, it's pretty fast paced. Nothing really settles properly and something random just starts again.
I give it a 7/10, its not so bad, go ahead and give it a shot.

Yeah, exactly! I'm usually a patient person but not when it comes to SOL/Romance. If there was some action I wouldn't mind the MC kissing his lover near the end of the season. But seeing as there IS nothing interesting, watching 20 episodes for nothing is infuriating.
