This is a thought I've had for a while, but during Anime scenes where one character goes a little, y'know, fucking Insane, some of the voice actors go haywire.

I like to picture it as like Charles Martinet and the Mario, Waluigi and other character voices, like

Maybe they give the actors caffeine pills and they just read the script and go nuts, lol.

What do you think?

They're just good like that! ;D

this lady's a good example. the voice of Tony Tony Chopper.

skip to :50 for the actual voice acting, everything before that is her everyday voice

I CELEBRATE myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.

I think they are just very talented people.
If you are interested in voice actors you should check out "I Know that Voice" it's a great documentary on voice actors.

I would love to see a behind the scenes of Nichijou. That anime had some crazy voice acting.

I think they kind of just do it (ignorant me talking)

For example here's a video of the two main VAs of FF13 playing the game and improv voicing at the same time (much more exciting than the entire game mind you)

I have been to a school for voice actor and actress as open campus in Tokyo.
Senpai there were very good at acting and playing role. (but most of them end up failing debut)
Nowadays seiyu need not only be good at playing but also appearance, talk skill and sociality to be liked producer.

If you see them in real doing that, you would be moved and change the way of watching anime!

No wonder many people end up being idols to become voice actors, it sucks unlike just going straight through voice acting school and continuing through there, because there are so much you have sacrifice being an idol unlike just working your ass off in voice acting school from the getgo.

I see. I would love to go there at some point! It sounds like an experience that needs to be had.

I would greatly enjoy seeing voice actors in action.

This is great. Troy Baker's pretty good with improv, having seen how he handles himself in the various things he's in on the Geek & Sundry channel, but it was fun to see Ali Hillis perform well along with him and how they played off each other.

You should see his performance in TLoU alternative ending, Broadway worthy.

Yeah I love Ali as well, enjoyed her performance in the first Mass Effect game, really pulled off the awkward and a bit oblivious asari scientist.
Still my favourite VA remains Mark Hamill for his Joker perfomance.
