| Hi everyone, So I'm actually in a Film Studies major and one of our class is about the "body representation in cinema and television" and I've decided to work on the "Loli" case in anime, so I'm looking for one (or more) anime with a loli, it would be better if the loli is in some way sexualized or have at least one episode where she is . Also in the harem case, if she can be considered as a real "love contender" for the MC (just like any other girl). I'm also trying to prove my point through casual anime so no hentai ! Thank you very much ! |

| thanks ! oh no don't worry about that...some people in my class are actually doing straight up porn (since it's technically a genre in cinema), I don't think Loli is the worst my teacher will see lol ! |

Shinbo Akiyuki at Studio SHAFT enjoys animating loli characters. Try Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. For a more sexualized character, there is Shinbo's rendition of Mina Tepes in Dance in the Vampire Bund. The lotion-application scene in episode two was censored in some releases. To be fair, Tepes is hundreds of years old; she just happens to look like a nine-year old girl. This image of her appears as the background during the closing credits. I've put it in spoiler tags because it is somewhat NSFW. Hatchikuji in Bakemonogatari mentioned above is another Shinbo/SHAFT character. One of my favorite loli characters is seven-year-old Kuhouin Murasaki in Kurenai. She's a kidnapped heiress under the protection of a sixteen-year-old boy. There are some lovely scenes of the two of them in a public bath with a strong theme of innocent sibling bonding, but it too raised some eyebrows.  Other options: Miyako in Ghost Hound  Rin in Usagi Drop  Yune in Ikoku Meiro no Croisee.  At sixteen, Yune is a bit old for a "loli," but she looks a lot younger. Rin is five and Miyako ten. Finally, I'll toss out AKB0048, a story about four girls who aspire to join the futuristic successor of the AKB48 idol group. At the beginning the girls are ten, but they are about 12-13 for most of the show. Here's a sequence from the opening episode which shows the young girls and the idols they aspire to become. |
