| I apologise for my bad english :P Hope you'll like it :'D You are about to witness the most heartwarming and the most soulshaking story of all times, so brace yourselves because loads of tears are coming your way! A long time ago in a land far away where the skies are awake a young man called Skies was given the task to go on a journey to the world below the skies. With his mind full of curiosity and his bag cramped with food he left his peaceful city known as Sorajima. At that moment he knew that big adventures were awating him. As he was leaving his island far away in the skies he spread his wings and felt wide awake while flying through the sky. At the same time on the other side of the world a young male pineapple named Pineapplesan was living a not so peaceful life. The thing is that a strange disease occured in his Pineappleolis village, his neighbours, cousins, even his own mother were infected! This disease caused pineapples to rot. It was painful to watch pineapples as they went melting, being left without their juices. "Don't die on me..." Pineapplesan gasped as he was looking at his mother Pineappleokasan. Pineappleokasan was lying in her big bed helplessly looking at her family and not being able to make them laugh just broke her heart even more. Pineapplesan just rushed out of the house in tears. "Why is this happening!? Why me!?" that were the questions that he was continuously asking himself. While he was in tears sitting in his garden, a feather suddenly fell on his face. "Where did this come from?" he looked into the sky with his teary eyes when suddenly a boy who looked like an angel stood in front of him with a look of a saint in his eyes. You are guessing right, it was Skies!! "Why are you crying little pineapple?" Skies asked with empathy in his eyes. At that moment Pineapplesan knew that something would change but he just couldn't speak. Saying it out loud would make him hurt even more, he just looked at Skies with a sad look on his face. Skies just sat next to him, and they were quiet for a while. Then Pineapplesan got the courrage and retold Skies the whole story. Skies looked really shocked by the sad story of Pineapplesan, he knew that something was off with this disease . How could something so big and terrifying happen just like that. That question was bothering Skies so he made a plan of investigation in his head. "Don't worry little pineapple. I will do something about it." said Skies with a serious face expression and then he flew away. Skies was flying above Pineappleolis trying to find some kind of clue, some kind of trace that could lead him to some kind of conclusion. His intuition was telling him that something was very wrong. He looked as though he wanted to help Pineapplesan in any way he can, but he had just got to this part of the world and he was really bad at finding his way around. So he took the whole day to look around every corner of Pineappleolis and its vicinity. At the end of the day Skies was full of insights and he was ready to make his first moves toward solving this problem. It was a quiet, dark morning when Skies was flying above a store called "Fruit basket", the store was located near Pineappleolis, it looked like it was just about to close. Why? You may aks? Well the answer is very simple, the owner was human and the Store was in a country called Fruitland. So how can someone be so stupid and build a Fruit store in land full of fruits!? You'll find out soon... As Skies was flying suddenly he saw a male apple coming into the store, then he got closer and started looking through the window. He saw the male apple giving money to the owner, but the male apple hadn't bought a single thing!! Then the male apple left the store with a hideous smile on his face. Skies started following the male apple. Soon enoug he was in Applelandia a city where apples lived. He found out that the male apple was the mayor of this city, his name was Pine Appellus. Although he was a major everyone was making fun of him due to his name. That was the moment when Skies realised that Appellus has something to do with the disease in Pineappleolis. Skies made an appointment with Appellus as a regent of Sorajima and Appellus approved the meeting. Few days after the "Fruit basket" scene, Skies was in Appellus' office. On his walls he saw a lot of pictures of his family and a strange add depicting a pineapple being sliced with a knife. As he was talking with Appellus he got to the conclusion that Appellus hates the race of pineapples from the bottom of his heart. "Why do you hate pineapples so much?" Skies asked calmly, "Why, you ask... I think that I've introduced myself to you, I'm Pine Appellus. I hate my name... And more than that I hate myself because I can not change it... Well I can but I would betray my mother, everything that she taught me, I would betray that... You see I was adopted, my mother was an apple and my father was a pineapple, so they couldn't have any children but man, they loved each other so much..." Skies was really confused now but Appellus continued "I see it on your face, your next question. Why do I then hate pineapples? The answer is so simple, and yet so sad... It was during summer festival, an accident happened, an accident in which my mother and father lost their lives. Well, „accident“, I've said it wrong, it was an attack on my father who was a famous politician in Pineappleshigai, a town near Pineappleolis, they killed him and mother! Because she was an apple!! They couldn't bare the fact that man who was deciding their destiny has an apple for a wife!! They died because of hatred!! They died..." Appellus started crying. Skies was so shocked that he didn't know what he should say. "I, erm..." Skies murmured as he was moving his hand toward Appellus shoulder. Suddenly Appellus shoved Skies' hand and shouted "Why am I the one crying!? Why do innocent fruits get hurt like that!? I've never hated before, I know that I'm doing a grave sin by hating, but I can't... I can't take it!! Skies-kun would you please leave my office I'm not able to talk to you any further." Skies just noded his head and left his office. The next day Pineapplesan was sitting in his garden looking at the night sky, and thinking about life. Skies knew that he would find him there so he approached "Don't know if I should ask... but, erm.. Is your mother any better?" Pineapplesan lowered his eyes on the ground "She's better..." "Well it's nice to hear that!!" said Skies with a stiff smile "In a better place. She's in a better place..." tears started falling down Pineapplesans face. Skies made a shocked look on his face and just hugged Pineapplesan. "Why does it have to be like this!?" Pineapplesan was sobbing "Half of my village is dead!!". Skies was just sitting quietly hugging Pineapplesan. After some time they went for a walk,  as they were walking they found a meadow "We should rest here for a while, you can talk to me if you like Pineapplesan..." said Skies. For some time they were lying in the grass, Pineaapplesan was looking at the sky again, wishing he were somewhere else. "Skies, are you awake?" asked Pineapplesan suddenly "Yes?" Skies responded "I was just wondering... Why are you here? Why are you doing all of this? This is not even your land... We are not the same race? Why then?" Pineapplesan looked into Skies "I came here to do some things for my lord and I will be leaving as soon as I finish. And, well, I like pineapples." Skies responded little bit shaken by the question "You like pineapples!? That's your reason!? Risking your life because you like my race!? I just don't get it..." Pineapplesan started again looking into the sky "Well, it's not like I can get infected and I have an opportunity to help, you should cherish that..." then Skies covered his face with his hand "I guess.." Pineapplesan stod up "Wish you the best of luck with the investigation, I should get going..." Skies was still lying in the grass "Thank you." he said and Pineapplesan left. After spendig a few weeks watching over "Fruit basket" Skies saw a lot of fruit entering the store, and a lot of them were entering with briefcases and leaving without them. Skies visited cities of all fruits that entered the shop and none of them had the problem with rotting. So he knew that it was the owner who had something to do with the disease in Pieappleolis, so he decided to enter the shop himself. As soon as he entered the owner looked at him with shocking face "Are you a traveller?" the owner asked "You can say that, yes..." Skies responded "How can I help you?" "I was wondering if you can tell me what's with the rotting in these villages?" Skies lifted his eyebrow "The rotting? I haven't heard of it..." the owner chuckled, Skies took out a sword and leaned it against the owners throat "Ohh really?" The owners eyes widened, he was in a terrible fear for his life "I know few things, nothing much sir, please put the sword down" the owner was really scared "Ohhh so you do know something!?" Skies gazed at the owner "Talk!" Skies yelled "Please sir, I can't, your sword is on my throat..." the owner said stuttering "Well, I think it's even harder to talk without your head... Now talk!!" Skies was persistent "abo.. abou.. about the rot...ting .. you said sir?" the owner stuttered "Yes! Why are you making fruits to pay you such big amounts? Are you blackmailing them!?" Skies said angry "Why are you saying that sir? I'm not that kind of a man.. A leprosy just happend.. It's a doom, anger of gods above the skies... I have nothing to do with this!!" "Leprosy you say? I've never said that it was leprosy... You've just got caught in your own net, owner-san.." at that moment owner reached for the knife that was near him but Skies punched him furiously in the face with his fist. The owner just fainted on the floor. After that Skies searched through the shop and found a bottle with a label saying "Leprosy powder" and many questions were answered at that moment. Skies set the whole shop on fire and left to see Pineapplesan to tell him what happend. After that day the disease stopped spreading around, and by knowing the cause they could cure the disease. "Why are you still here, Skies-san? You did it, you've saved the village and we are thankful for that, you should be doing your own job now." Pineapplesan said to Skies "Well I'm doing my job you don't need to worry Pineapplesan." Skies just smiled and left Few days passed and the village was on it's feet again, Skies was enjoying himself in Pineappleolis, and Pineapplesan was showing him around. Happy days didn't last long for Pineapplesan, one day as Pineapplesan walked into his house he saw his brother, two sisters, father and their house friends cherries Pich and Poch sliced over like someone was playing fruit ninja. Pineapple san started crying and sobbing over their parts when suddenly he heard a voice "Time to go" Pineapplesan slowly turned around and saw Skies with gruesome look on his face "I knew it, I've should've been more careful..." Pineapple said lowering his head into the floor full of fruit juice "Hoo...? Knew?" Skies looked at him wickedly "Yes. From the day my mom died... You've killed her, I saw it in your eyes... And that night we also talked, you said that this disease is not dangerous for you, you knew that it was only for fruit!!" Then suddenly out of nowhere Pineapplesan drawned le wild Katana "Huuh pretty smart pineapple, as expected from top class flavoured ninja pineapple!" "What is your real task here!? Why did you come here? To kill pineapples? Why did you then save the village!?" "I came here to take you to my lord, because my lord has wished for the best flavoured ninja pineapple in the world!! Of course I've got the directions before I've got here I knew in some ways what's going on here.. I've killed your mother because I didn't want you to get the leprosy, and I've got rid of leprosy for the same damn reason... ohh and also to make sure that in future this village has even more fine tasted ninja pineapples." "Why did you have to kill my family then!? Why didn't you just kill me that day?" "Dunno, for fun, I guess, I felt like playing fruit ninja but my phone died...You were such a crying baby that day that I didn't believe myself that you were best flavoured ninja pineapple in the world, so I took my time and also saved future best flavoured ninja pineapples. Now be so kind and let me kill you" Pineapplesan was furious with the answer and sword fight started.... Who won? Well who knows... |
