| honestly... My dreams tend to be very vivid and pretty messed up and a lot of them have very negative elements to them. I'd say on a whole I have mostly nightmares on a daily basis. The ones that stick a bit after waking up are when I'm being chased by something and I have a hard time moving (I'm weighed down, or just can't seem to move fast), but because it's more common than not, I'm used to it. However there is one thing I never get used to even though it does happen frequently is sleep paralysis or "old hag syndrome" I have narcolepsy so my brain does not regulate sleep/wake cycles properly. This means I'll fall asleep at inopportune times and have very disrupted sleep (waking multiple times at night). Among some of the symptoms, sleep paralysis, hallucinations and cataplexy are ones that I experience. In essence either I'm about to fall asleep or wake up and am conscious and aware, but my body can not move. I feel as though some entity is weighing me down or paralyzing me and it is accompanied by panic and fear (sometimes accompanied by hallucinations). Sometimes it lasts a short while (few minutes) up to what literally felt like it was the entire night (although realistically maybe an hour). anyways wall of text tl;dr - have narcolepsy experience sleep paralysis, panic and hallucinations of entities holding me down |

A world without music would suck.. but the question was what WAS your worst nightmare, so actually something that you already dreamed about xD unless I'm the one reading the question wrong @Tewi-sama Well, I don't remember a lot but it was this one nightmare where I was lying down on something and couldn't move at all.. I was surrounded by trees and I believe there was a bear >_> if I recall correctly I've had that exact same dream twice. |
