Why did you have to do this Silver Link? I hope the only thing they change is replacing Ayase with Kusakabe and tweak the content of episode 6 to 5. Ayase will need to wait for another episode.

They're probably just rearranging parts from Vol 2 in the anime. The selection battles in the beginning of Vol 2 might be seen in Ep 6.

Actually i'm slightly worried on whether or not they'll even reveal the Student Council. They might just skip them all and introduce Toka only.

My guess is to boost LN sales as fast as possible, because Ikki X Stella relationship is what Rakudai tries to be different from other high school battle stories.

Rearrangement makes sense so far. Establishing the relationship progress first Is important to separate themselves from the usual LN expectations. Establishing that the confession mattered is important and Rakudai's hope in terms of sales is all about establishing itself as different from the other LN adaptations airing right now

Having this stuff happen right now is pretty much a reinforcement for the ending of Ep4.

From what was posted here I see no problems with them rearranging the events a bit to make the relationship cleare and separation from "harem ln" stronger.
