since people can request to change their username now - http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1430734

i suggest to have the option to login with email, just like how you can login with email and username on twitter, in this way the old people that have their username taken away can still login if they remember their email that they added here on MAL

You can't register with same e-mail twice, so people will notice in either case

I just logged into MAL for the first time in years and remembered the reason why. You need to remember a username to be able to log in. I'm sure it seems totally normal to MAL users, but for me, having to log in with a username is needlessly complicated, and a reason to just not use this website.

If you could MAL admin, please allow users to log in with their email rather than their username. 🙏
